Belfast Cathedral Quarter Wedding
Freya and Corey

Freya and Corey travelled all the way from Australia for their special Northern Irish wedding. The couple wed at Belfast City Hall in early January and were joined by family and close friends. We had a dry, bright winter’s day and the cool Irish weather was a welcome change from the sunshine back home in Perth.
The day started with Corey and the groomsmen who had stayed the previous night at apartments along the quayside. We hung our for a while before heading over to capture Freya’s bridal preparations.
The couple were staying at The Merchant Hotel where the wedding reception party would be held. I always enjoy shooting weddings at this hotel as it has a great variety of backgrounds and the lighting is moody and romantic. Before dinner we had time to explore the nearby Cathedral Quarter. We went to the famous Duke of York for some Guinness pouring and captured photos around the cobblestone streets and alleys.
It was a special day and a wonderful celebration for the happy couple who looked great in front of the camera. I think we really made the most of the locations…
Here is a selection of highlights from the day which I hope you will enjoy.
