Fairytale Winter Wedding
Amy and Lee

Once upon a time…
Amy and Lee met each other on a date at Kentucky Fried Chicken. The couple soon became inseparable so much so that together they were referred to as ‘Leeamy’.
I arrived for the bridal preparations at Amy’s parent’s house in Holywood, Co Down. The festive family home was decked out for Xmas as everyone prepared for the special day. A stunning horse drawn carriage took the bride and her father through the streets of the town to the church on Main Street.
The service was conducted by the reverend Jim and the harp and pianist performed a selection of songs throughout the ceremony. Afterwards everyone made their way to the Crowne Plaza Hotel at Shaws Bridge.
It was a particularly chilly November day but the brave couple were happy to get some shots around the Lockkeepers next to the River Lagan. I really love the images we got with the late autumn and winter colours.
We returned to the warmth of the hotel in time for the prosecco and speeches before dinner.
The couple danced and everyone celebrated into the night…
A Fairytale Winter Wedding
It was a special day and a wonderful celebration for the happy couple who looked great in front of the camera. I think we really made the most of the locations…
Here is a selection of highlights from the day which I hope you will enjoy.
If you’re getting married in Northern Ireland I’d love to hear from you!
