An Irish Wedding Celebration

Rebecca and Ale were wed earlier this summer in London and wanted to continue their celebrations in Northern Ireland. Up until the day of the shoot I had yet to meet the couple in person. The day started at Glenoe Waterfall in Larne where we met up with couple for the first time. We only got to fit in 20 minutes at the waterfall due to the heavy showers but we still managed to capture the magic! We made the most of this amazing location.

Afterwards, we arrived at Ownies Bar and Grill in Carrickfergus which had put on a great spread for the guests. It was a fantastic celebration with friends and family with great food and entertainment and the dancing continued into the night.

Earlier that afternoon we came across a lovely lady who invited us into her property adjacent to her home. This is the smallest house in Carrickfergus and is over 150 years old. The owner is planning on restoring it to it’s former glory but in the meantime looked great for some unusual, romantic wedding shots.

It was a special day and a wonderful celebration for the happy couple who looked great in front of the camera!
