HOW CAN WE BOOK YOU?
We’ll have a chat over the phone and pen down the details of your day. A 20% deposit is required to secure your date along with our wedding contract agreement. The balance is payable 4 weeks before your big day. All payments are made by secure bank transfer.
DO WE MEET BEFORE OUR WEDDING?
Absolutely. We can have a face to face consultation anytime that suits you. Alternatively we can get on a video call if it’s more convenient. I like to meet my clients a month or so before the wedding to run through the final details and discuss additional ideas. For larger weddings I compile a shot list suited to your day.
HOW LONG IS YOUR COVERAGE?
Every wedding is different and coverage length is up to you. I provide 3 options of wedding coverage. I’m flexible with time and I’m happy to provide a bespoke package for your day.
Should you require additional coverage I can provide extra hours which are priced at £150 p/h.
HOW MANY PHOTOS ARE INCLUDED?
All Day Coverage you’ll receive at least 700 processed images.
Full Day Coverage you’ll receive at least 500 processed digital images.
Half Day Coverage you’ll receive at least 300 processed digital images.
The final images supplied are high resolution and print ready.
HOW LONG DO YOU SPEND FOR THE BRIDAL PREPERATIONS?
I arrive 90 minutes before the ceremony and spend about an hour for the preps.
DO YOU ALSO COVER THE GROOM PREPERATIONS?
If it’s logistically feasible I’m happy to capture the groom’s preparations. However this may not always be possible. I have a team of select photographers who can assist with the groom.
HOW LONG DO THE BRIDAL PORTRAITS TAKE TO SHOOT?
I’ll create a set of special portraits of you both at a nearby location. The length of time is entirely up to you however I always advise setting aside at least one hour of your day for the bridal portraits.
DO YOU POSE YOUR COUPLES?
The majority of the day is candid, reportage photography. I have a relaxed and stress free approach with my couples. For the bridal portrait session I’ll put you at ease in front of the camera and guide you with some simple posing ideas and direction. Your portraits will look natural, striking and romantic!
WHAT HAPPENS IF THE WEATHER IS BAD?
Weather is unpredictable even in the summer months. If the forecast is looking a bit wet please be prepared. I also advise brides to bring a good pair of flats or comfortable shoes. You’ll thank me! Should the weather turn into a monsoon we can reschedule your bridal portraits for a later date.
WHEN DO WE RECIEVE OUR PHOTO SET?
Depending on the time of year it’s normally around 6 weeks.
ARE YOU INSURED?
Yes indeed. I am fully insured for public liability and professional indemnity.
SHOULD WE PROVIDE YOU WITH A MEAL?
For wedding coverage exceeding 5 hours a meal is required and much appreciated.
CAN WE HAVE THE UNEDITED IMAGES?
No. It’s part of my work flow to select the best of the best images. The final photo collection is comprehensive and the perfect story of your day.
HOW DOES THE ALBUM DESIGN PROCESS WORK?
Should you decide on an album simply select your favourite images. I’ll design the album layout and provide you with a sample for your approval. Adjustments may be made if required and once approved, the file is sent to the print lab.
Album turnaround time is normally 5 weeks.
CAN WE DECIDE ON AN ALBUM AT A LATER STAGE?
Yes indeed. I provide a variety of wedding album options carefully designed and created to tell the story of your day. If you’re unsure about adding an album you can always get back to me at a later date.
For peace of mind I archive all of my client’s images for at least 5 years
